Catching a Train in 37 Degrees!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Sunday Night 9:00 pm

Clear. Low: 37 °F . Wind SW 13 mph . Windchill: 30 °F .

One train ride after another seems the demand of days ahead for Paige. With gas prices being so high, the hosts encourage a train ride to each destination. As Paige boards she finds her seat and then proceeds to either watch someone catch some needed sleep, take a sip of coffee or tea, read their newspaper or possibly enjoy a smart phone game! Some passengers may be caught simply watching the countryside as the train moves through it as a motorized intrusion with the purpose of getting its passengers to their destination!

Paige is a real trooper, as in other ministries, often limo drivers await your exit from the airport, the driver smiles and recognizes you. You may have a cranberry juice waiting for you along with a nice healthy snack – but on this trip she will simply count her luggage, secure her purse and hat, then endeavor to interpret her ticket (it’s in Swedish) and take her first step toward many more to come.

I am proud of my sister. She inspires me, because she hears the Lord and is willing to obey regardless of the challenge in front of her. On this journey there will be so many things that she will experience that will only be discussed between her and the Lord. When Paige returns from her trip, you will hear of the good reports, the blessings and her joy in the work. But from me you must hear of those things that make the journey difficult and require patience and perseverance. Why you ask? Because you are her prayer team – therefore you must enter into your chambers with truth. Sharing the Good News means conflict with hell. So know that it is important that you come on board from that perspective. After all, at the end of this assignment, when Paige returns home, with the good report, we all rejoice – because we were partners. We smile as if to know a secret – because we do. We knew the truth, and we prayed and the end result was a good report. I am smiling in advance – with faith, in hope and with His love! Pray fervently and you will be smiling too!

God bless,

BernaLee

We need our Mom

Recently, I visited with my mom as some of us in the family were meeting at her home to celebrate one of my nephew’s birthday. It was a joy to see her at 79 years old, funny, energetic, witty and healthy. When you reach the age of Paige and I, you look forward to those talks with your mom. It doesn’t take long to realize after speaking with her that we gained a strong work ethic, moral compass and perseverance from her. As Paige travels to Sweden, her mom gladly and with commitment, joins with you in praying each day for Paige. She stands in agreement for God’s provision, protection and His grace upon her work assignment. Join her, commit to pray, and together we will rejoice in the good works that were accomplished!

Sincerely,

BernaLee
